Hi! I’m Jada White, a certified educator, author, and MFA graduate with five years of experience teaching English Language Arts. I specialize in working with students in grades 1–8 and have a proven track record of helping students achieve meaningful academic growth. Throughout my career, I have taught both primary and middle school students, allowing me to meet learners where they are and provide instruction tailored to their unique needs. As someone who is deeply passionate about literacy, I believe every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader, a skilled writer, and a critical thinker. My goal as an ELA tutor is to provide engaging, personalized instruction that strengthens academic skills, builds confidence, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. I offer one-on-one tutoring services in reading, writing, grammar, critical thinking, and Louisiana standards-based support. Session locations are determined by the parent to best accommodate their child’s needs and schedule. 📚 All tutoring services start at $30 per hour. Cancellation Policy
To ensure fairness and respect for both the tutor’s and families’ schedules, at least 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- No-shows or missed sessions without prior communication will be charged the full session fee.
- In the event of an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible so that accommodations can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
